I've Created Something For Students To Use To Reflect On Their Revision (FREEBIE Inside + Small Favour!⭐ )

After working with hundreds of students over the years I can say that revision/retention struggles are rarely caused by just one thing.
Sometimes a student is using revision methods that aren’t very effective.
Sometimes they’re struggling with focus or distractions.
Sometimes the issue is workload overwhelm, stress, inconsistency, poor time management, cramming, lack of confidence… or simply not knowing how to study in a way that actually works for them.
And honestly, it can often be difficult for students (and parents) to identify exactly what may be holding progress back.
Because from the outside it can look like they're revising loads and they're doing the 'right' things. They've got flashcards, they've got diagrams... so why aren't their grades improving? You go to the parent-teacher meeting and they tell you a little more 'effort' will do the trick...
Its not nice to feel like you are both in limbo, waiting for the revision to work and evidence that things are improving. That’s exactly why I decided to create something a little different.
I’ve just created a FREE: Study Skills Scorecard ✨
This is a self-assessment designed to help students reflect on the hidden habits, behaviours, and weak areas that may currently be affecting their revision, memory, focus, consistency, and overall studying.
Inside, students will evaluate areas such as:
revision & memory,
focus & learning conditions,
workload & organisation,
consistency & stress resilience,
and more.
The goal isn’t to judge students. Or to make anyone feel bad.
It’s simply to help bring some awareness to the student, of why their revision may or may not currently be producing the results they want — and where improvements may need to happen moving forward.

I genuinely think it could lead to some really valuable conversations and reflections for both students and parents.
And lastly — a small favour 💭
If you’ve ever:
enjoyed my emails,
worked with me through 1:1 tutoring,
attended group sessions,
joined Study Strategy Lab,
or found my support/content helpful in any way…
it would honestly mean the world if you’d consider leaving a short review on my Facebook page.
I have plenty of reviews from emails and happy clients, but having them as 'social proof' on my Facebook page would make a big difference for brand new people who have never met me!
And as a small business, reviews make a huge difference and help other parents and students feel more confident finding support too.
When you go to my Facebook Page, please post the review until the 'All' and the reviews tab, ideally not under the 'Mentions' tab.
Thank you so much again for all the continued support — I genuinely appreciate it more than you know.
Speak soon,
Brodie
P.S. If all of this about studying smarter and more effectively is something you’d like to learn more about, keep your eyes peeled for my next free webinar where I’ll be breaking down what I call the 5 pillars of effective studying — and why so many students struggle, not because they’re lazy or incapable, but because nobody has actually shown them how to study properly.
I’ll also be opening enrolment for my next 5-week Study Strategy programme, where I guide students step-by-step to build and personalise their own strategy based on how they learn best, their schedule, workload, strengths, and goals. You can sign up to the priority waitlist here.
Because the students who succeed long term usually aren’t the ones studying the most…
They’re the ones studying with intention.
